Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Housing Services Lead to provide strong, values‑aligned leadership to our Victorian Social Housing team and oversee the day‑to‑day operation of NAH’s onsite residential properties.
This role plays a key leadership role in ensuring high‑quality housing services, compliant property management and positive resident outcomes. You will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for tenancy management, maintenance, cleaning and site operations, while fostering a respectful, collaborative and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of Housing Officers and Housing Assistants to deliver high‑quality, end‑to‑end housing services
Oversee tenancy management activities including allocations, agreements, inspections, breach management and VCAT matters
Build positive, professional relationships with residents and respond to enquiries, issues and complaints with care and fairness
Coordinate and oversee property maintenance, cleaning, security and contractor services
Manage maintenance budgets and monitor service delivery against contracts
Ensure properties comply with relevant policies, legislation, regulatory requirements and building codes
Maintain safe environments for residents, staff and visitors, including oversight of emergency procedures
Ensure accurate use of housing systems and data to support service delivery, compliance and reporting

You are a confident people leader with strong housing, property or community services experience and a genuine commitment to resident wellbeing. You bring sound judgement, calm problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage complex issues in a regulated environment.
NAH is looking for:
Demonstrated experience leading housing, property or community services teams
Strong understanding of tenancy and property management, ideally within social housing
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a resident‑centred approach
Proven ability to resolve complex disputes and complaints in a fair, non‑judgemental manner
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Experience coordinating contractors and overseeing facilities or site operations
A relevant qualification in community services, housing or real estate is desirable. A current Victorian Registration Certificate or Real Estate Licence (or ability to obtain) is required.
